Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information we use to provide diagnostic booking services and how we handle it.

Last updated: 15 October 2026

We use personal information only as needed to operate Mediyaar, process a diagnostic booking request, support customers and meet our legal obligations. This policy should be read with our Terms & Conditions.

Information we use

  • Contact details such as your name, mobile number and email address.
  • Booking details such as selected tests, patient details, collection address, pincode and chosen collection slot.
  • Account information, where you choose to create or use an account.
  • Information you send to our support team, plus limited technical information needed to keep the website secure and working.

Why we use it

We use this information to verify your mobile number, check serviceability, arrange home collection, share the details needed by the diagnostic provider, provide support and prevent misuse or fraud. We may also use information where necessary to comply with applicable law or respond to lawful requests.

We do not use patient details entered for a booking in website analytics reports. Our operational reporting is designed to use aggregated or limited data appropriate to the purpose.

When we share information

To fulfil a booking, we share the information necessary for that booking with the diagnostic provider you select or that accepts the request. We may also use service providers that help us operate the website, communications or support, subject to appropriate confidentiality and security requirements.

We may disclose information where required by law, to protect users or the public, or to prevent fraud and security incidents.

Booking messages and reminders

When you begin or continue a booking and verify your mobile number, we may contact you by WhatsApp, SMS or call about that booking. These messages can include OTPs, availability updates, appointment reminders, collection changes and customer support.

This booking-contact notice does not give us permission to send unrelated marketing messages. If you receive marketing communications under a separate choice or relationship, you can ask to opt out using the contact details in that message or by contacting us.

Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

We retain information for as long as needed for booking fulfilment, support, fraud prevention, record-keeping or legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it when it is no longer required.

Your choices and requests

You can request access to, correction of or help with information linked to your Mediyaar booking by contacting us. To protect customers, we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You can also ask us to stop non-essential booking reminders or promotional messages.

Policy updates

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, legal requirements or data practices change. The latest version and its update date will be published on this page.
